The life after married is never same again. And this damn right if wife's feeling is sensitive, although she doesn't know what husband's did in the out door, but with her instinct, she is feeling. The wife has a strong instinct. I learned this from the film "Honeymoon". The main actors are Al Fathir Muchtar (David) and Shireen Sungkar (Farah).
When Farah goes a teen, there was bad accident, her close friend was raped, and then her friend suicide. Farah also have a bad moment, when her friend named Sherly (whose moral are broken) trapped Farah to masher man, and she almost raped. When Farah married, her trauma came. She suffers vaginismus; she always feels afraid when David persuaded her to making love. In David's perspective, the instinct's couple will be on after they do making love.
David, Farah, and their baby in film "Honeymoon" (2013) |
The virgin issue was main here, I don't know, this film judged if the women who are not virgin are like the trashes. Because she doesn't treated as a human. I feel so heartbreaking when Rachel (Ardina Rasti) said:
"I am not virgin, and because that my husband doesn't treat me as a wife. I gave my virginity to false person, not for my husband. Last, I should be my virginity to the right man; when you do that, you are proper to treat as a wife."
Dramas then come in their household, from conflict with worked, the company, the secretary, the parent, etc. But farah's disease recovered when she helped her friend gave birth a baby. She became the impromptu midwife. And here, the other values that I took from this film:
- Don't hang out with friends who have broken morals. (Farah's mom/Lydia Kandou)
- To be a mother and struggle to be a mother are bigger than struggle to be a wife. (Farah)
- Mother, be careful with my baby, it's not easy to make her/him. (David)
